We both agree this is an excellent book. Tolle helps make sense of mindfulness practices and provides a compelling case for trying them in your own life. Eckhart Tolle – German-born spiritual teacher and self-help author who resides in Canada. He is best known as the author of The Power of Now and A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life’s Purpose.

The Power of Now – A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenment.

Rumi – 13th-century Persian poet, Hanafi faqih, Islamic scholar, Maturidi theologian, and Sufi mystic originally from Greater Khorasan in Greater Iran.

Meister Eckhart – was a German theologian, philosopher and mystic, born near Gotha in the Landgraviate of Thuringia (now central Germany) in the Holy Roman Empire.

Sufism – mysticism in Islam, characterized by particular values, ritual practices, doctrines and institutions.
